Hazard: Cables
What could cause harm? Loose cables could cause someone to trip and fall and injure him or herself.
What is the likelihood of this happening? Likely
How much harm? Minor harm
Apply the following priorities, how will this risk be managed (provide detail)?
(1) Eliminate- Remove any unnecessary cables in the studio. (2) Reduce or substitute – limit the cables which are in the room           (3) Isolate.- move them out of the way and tidy so they cant be seen. (4) Control.- will make sure that everyone in the studio is aware of the cables.(5) Personal protective equipment – just make everyone aware and keep the lights on to help prevent them falling.

What could cause harm? Lighting , cables, flooring , props.

How much harm? Minor harm                     
Apply the following priorities, how will this risk be managed (provide detail)?
(1)Eliminate if they can be removed take out the item which will cause harm. (2) Reduce or substitute –keep the props in one box so they they can be brought in if needed Use a stronger light so two aren’t needed. (3) Isolate. Move the items when they aren’t in use either into one area so they are out of the way.(4) Control- limit the amount of items in the room so that they don’t cause a problem. Move all cables so they are tidy and ensure I check the room beforehand.  (5) Personal protective equipment – make sure that everyone knows about what they could be at risk to before letting them go in.
