When taking my pictures I had to do a risk assessment of the places that I would be taking the shots in. I used the QE media studio for two of my DPS images and the other way taken in the 02 academy Newcastle.

The media studio in Queen
Elizabeth Sixth Form College.

It is very suitable
as it is easily accessible a within college so I can get all my model there easily.
It’s a secluded place
and it will need to be booked beforehand.
The lighting equipment
is already in there so if I need to create a certain effect with the lights I
have the opportunity to do so.
It is also in the
media block so I am close to teachers If i need assistance with any problems I
may face.

sure that I am definitely booked in to use it.
Check for permission
of the models in the pictures.
Also I need to take
care when using the lighting equipment in case they break.

It will be suitable
as I will be in the crowd and it allows me to take an action shot of the
crowd getting ready for the event.
The lighting will be created
for me adding to the vibes of the images , creating a party atmosphere I need.
I’m part of the crowd
taking the picture myself so I don’t need permission to get in.

I need to remember not
to take picture of anyone’s faces or the actual band just the atmosphere as
getting permission for the big band will be hard to get.
Remember to take my
camera to the event.
Check pictures whilst
I am there in case they are blurry, need to come away with a picture.
