Article 1 - The Grunge

THE GRUNGE ARTICLE - Making its way back into the fashion scene is the grungy style of the 90s. The grunge is renowned for it music influence and its dirty, edgy laid-back fashion. Emerging out of the Seattle music scene, the Grunge look itself was bleak and anti-fashion, the style is so simple and undone Well the grunge is all about dark colors the blacks and the greys, but to add a look of femininity colors such as reds or blues create a lighter look. Tartan is also playing a huge part in bring back the Grunge in this autumn look. The tartan can create more of a dramatic statement to the look and brighten the dark colors. But remember the grunge is all about getting down and dirty. Jeans that are ripped out and tattered anchor this style the best but you can always try ripped up tights with baggy shirts. MMU Sport- Various Social

Throughout my time as Sports Development Assistant at MMU Sport (Manchester Metropolitan Sport Department) I got to engage with a vast amount of activities. Part of my role was to ensure that our main programme (Active Campus - A timetable of free activity) was well promoted, not only online but on promotional stalls as well. This meant creating and scheduling social media content; e-marketing and face-face marketing.
